Are you an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad application developer, reviewer, or researcher? Are you interested in educational application design? AppCamp 2010 might be worth your time…
Dust or Magic Institute, 2010:
“What is it?
The First Children’s App Design Institute is an informal show-and-tell session on the art and science of making and publishing children’s apps; more specifically, children’s software (ages birth-15) designed for portable touch screens. We’ll review the state-of-the-art, discuss some common design mistakes, talk about how to publish an app, and better understand how to tap the big potential of small screens. These screens include the iPod Touch/iPhone, iPad, Android, Nintendo DS/DSi, Leapster, iXL and whatever else is invented by May 2nd. Our goal is to provide a hand’s on experience with as many Apps as possible, in a short time. “
