Over at TotalApps.net there is an excellent tutorial for making a landscape scene appear to be a winter scene.
Adding Winter with Photoshop | TotalApps:
“This quick guide will take you through the steps of adding winter to any landscape photo, but please note the process works better on bright clear landscapes rather than darker low contrast photos so chose a good photo from your library.”
(Via Total Apps.)
The tutorial covers:
1. How to load the photo into Photoshop
2. How to add a “Channel Mixer”
3. How to “Channel Mix”
There probably is alternative/better ways for getting the same effect. If you have one please comment below. I would love to see some other examples and methods.
Head over to Total Apps and take a look at the details for following the tutorial and check out many more great posts.
