I don't know. All I know is that I received that email from the same
account Apple always emails me. Also, TUAW reported on this, and other
teachers I know received the same email.

The site was also down last night and now there is a site maintenance
page up.

http://edcommunity.apple.com/ali/

We shall see.

I know there are account scams but this does not seem that way as of
right now.

If you have any other info please share!
