A Mac in the White House?

I found this to be an interesting question only one day away from the inauguration. In the political scene we already know that state senators from Nebraska are coming back to brand new MacBook Airs. This was a decision that caused some rumblings from Nebraska State Senator Tony Fulton during these hard economic times.

Aside from whether or not it does occur, I (jokingly) think Obama should hire Charlie Rose as a secret service agent to protect the Macbook. Charlie dove into the ground last year and got a black eye protecting his new Macbook Air.

Will Obama Bring a Mac to the White House?

Barack Obama is a Mac. At least that’s how the NYT described his style, approach, manner — naming rival Hillary Clinton a PC about a year ago.

The soon-to-be 44th president of the United States, who addresses citizens via YouTube and Twitter, is also a Mac user who has been spotted flashing an iPhone, keeps up with his family via iChat, whose ‘O’ logo was designed on a Mac and whose campaign was powered by MacBooks

…Do you want to see a Mac on the desk of the Oval Office or is the choice of First Laptop a non-issue?”
